How does anyone begin to speak about his or her father, One could go about listing all the wonderful attributes they are consistent of, or articulate the great leadership he maintained in the home... Well my dad is in every case is better than your dad, and when push comes to shoves and punches, my dad could beat your dad up any day. No really, I love my dad and I have like many a great index of memories. Memories of being taught, loved, and disciplined, and twenty- seven years later, I'm living, working and praying to prove my dad's many investments worthy of yield. As time has so subtlety been ticking away at our lives and responsibility and ageing have done their best to dim the vividness of our fondest memories and the ambiance of yester years, God has given me a life long token and living memento of my father and our relationship. I discovered it while I was talking to one my soldier friends… I was speaking however it was my father’s voice, and as I was speaking I (in a sense) step out of myself and enjoyed the voice of my father. It was then I realized some times when I speak I hear my Dad, I could never articulate completely how wonderful a token this is, truly invaluable. Where does the worth come from? Not just the progenitor but from all the virtues, laughs, lessons and years I’ve enjoyed with my dearest friend James Thomas. I love my father, and I'm hoping somehow to remit back what I can. |
