| Stepping into the Holiday Season Someone was once asked “how do you eat an Elephant?” and the individual responded with “… One bit at a time”. My question to you is how does one start the course of God’s will for his or her life and follow through till completion? I venture to say “one step at a time” The first steps must be Holy Spirit bathed in prayer, and supported by biblical scripture, seeing this will assume the direction of the entire course. Then with each additional step one begins to take ground and cover distant in pursuit of the glorification of God. God, in his great love for us, deems us worthy and serve him and give us His holy Word and the Holy Spirit to guide us unto all truth and joy. In this world there are many thrills, parachute out of a functioning airplane, exploring the many vast uncharted regions underneath the sea. The list of possibilities is endless, however “To know the will of God is the greatest knowledge; To find the will of God is the greatest discovery; To do the will of God is the greatest achievement.” There is no greater thrill in life than to have a record and conscience echoing “your pleasing God” I have been enjoying the will of God here in Germany for almost nine months and to the glory of God he has been leading me, teaching me, amazing me step by step, and I would be a fool not to take the next one. Each subsequent step consists of the vote, zeal and aim of the last. I would ask you to pray for me as I continue down this road God has lead me on. I can not see too far out past where I am and I’m not sure what’s waiting around the corners, however this march must press on. Therefore, I need the wisdom, power, and favor of god, and again ask for your prayerful concern. I’m currently working at the Ramstein Day Care as a handyman; I praise God for the means he has given me to remain here in Germany. The atmosphere of my work area is very pleasant, seeing the children everyday learning there names; it gives me a heart for there generation and a desire to have children of my own. I have some great co-workers also and count many of them as endearing friends. Pray that I can be a blessing and a testimony toward them. I have been enjoying working with Pastor Andrew Wilson, the Pastor of the Freie Baptisten Church here in Landstuhl Germany. The ministry has been experiencing much growth and development within recent months, and we are poised and prayerful for God’s continual blessing upon His ministry. Please pray Pastor and myself will see souls saved, lives redirected, and homes strengthened. I love you in the Lord Jesus Christ, May God bless you and yours as we seek to please him in This Christmas season. . Your Minister to Germany LaDron Thomas Philippians 1:3 |
